Another Hot Rod Bathroom....

I want the inside of my car to be modge podged with pictures of poop.

 

Hope there is a good fan in there or the pictures might peel off.

VERY Nice denise! Wow What a car person you are ! I think your more into it then half the guys I know !!! I got some new furniture this week, The wife and I had one of the biggest fights in our 23 yrs of marrage over the stupid orange thing, but It is my room and I won!!! I love the new stuff, a few more lamps and some end tables, and the green sofa is going back , the material isn't what I ordered.

 

The bathroom is the only thing I have to do in the Grand Fin-Alley. Couldn't quite figure out what I wanted to do to go with the rest of the place, but it's not like the door's going to be hanging open. So instead of just a 50's looking restroom, I think now that I'll make it much more interesting with your inspiration.

I posted pics of the hangout I created at my home for fellow Hambers and rodders not too long ago, but I'll send out the invite again for all the FNG's that may have missed it before.


There's just nothing with the atmosphere nearby to hang out at after the cruises nearby........... till now.

read an article on the compooter about a company that made urinals with a fly painted at the bottom. seeing a fly at the bottom caused men to aim and reduce "spillage" (there word, not mine) by 80%.

I'm kinda thinkin car pictures on the walls will have a different effect.

lmao, the vase is from my ex-mother-in-law. the bathrooms are two of the last rooms in the house to get some love, and it's been 8 years.

hmmm... I'm about to paint two other rooms, I guess I should start a "Denise does my bathrooms" savings fund.

There will always be GOJO or Fast Orange in my bathroom. I need to keep the "No Dumping" sign as well. I also have a bunch of race plaques hanging in there.

 

That's pretty cool! My fiance is a car nut, but I still don't think she'd go for that. Maybe if I told her I'd buy a stroker kit for her Fairlane, she'd let me do it (bribery always helps)

I'm really looking forward to showing you the rest of the house during your visit. Our taste in furniture and artwork are very similar. It's funny you just got a new couch cuz I've got plans to buy a new one this summer and have already started looking at styles that are a little different then the "norm". I want a red couch but I've got purple walls in my living room. I don't know, could probably use your opinion on color once you see my style.

I LOVE your bathroom and with a new coat of paint, light fixture and a few accessories, you could really do wonders with it. Next time I'm in town, if you haven't already, I'd LOVE to help you out with redo'ng it. Between me, you and Megan we could knock it out in half a day.

Cuz then I'd have to use photographs when in fact the "pictures" I, and Megan, used are actually drawings of cars. The walls have a more "art-y" feel then cut out of mag feel.

Your's needs even more help then Zman!
It's save-able though. The first thing I'd do is skirt that sink with a hot rod themed material. Valcro glued to the inside bottom edge of the sink and sewed on the top edge of the "skirt" would hide all the pipes and stuff. New toilet for $150. at the most. I would also paint the tile, whether it's fake or real it can be painted very easily.........or you could just gut the place and start from scratch.

 

I'm in the middle of re-doing my garage bathroom... so far 12inch black and white checkered tile half way up then the wall above is yellow. Artwork will either Dale Earnheart or leaning more towards David Mann Artwork.

It was a joke, a set up from something that went down earlier that summer. Trust me, Malcolm and the guys in Omaha a great friends....except for one.
