My wife is on vacation all week in a diffrent country and I get to go to a swap meet
hell yeah

 

Lucky????? I get to pick up the check at the very expensive restaurant, then go home and watch re-runs of Pinks........wink, wink

....tomorrow marks 40 years to the day of owning my "hot rod for a lifetime".
Not HAMB friendly, but a milestone nonetheless.
Reluctant to post, but some may appreciate knowing of an
original owner '69 Camaro SS, 4spd, posi, Hugger Orange,
original black vinyl top.

Drove as a stocker for a decade.
Launched restomod body-off build in '79.
Completed in '84...lowered, steel flares, de-chromed, gold pearl clearcoat,
rollbar, Corbeau buckets, race-styled custom interior,
hand built one-piece fibergl*** front facia
replacing OE bumper and 3-pc steel facia. '65 T-bird tailights.
Compe***ion suspension. Currently showing 145K miles.
16x8.5 OG Torque-Thrust style wheels...unheard of in '80s!
Most common adjective to describe has been...'understated'.
Simplicity of line, barbless, NO chrome underhood, no stripes.

Previous trophy winner at Portland Roadster Show in Mild Custom.
2nd of 8...winning over more show oriented cars,
which I believe was due to fact I personally did all metal, paint,
interior, and mechanical work.
Seen duty as commuter, road course/hillclimb compe***ion, show car.
Even a love nest during my misspent youth...
