Has any body here used Jamco 3" or 4" rear lowering leaf kits they sell the deluxe kit with shocks and stuff ??? I have a 51 chevy 2 door coupe. Im thinking about using the Jamco 4 inch rear drop. And the fatmans 2 1/2" drop upright and arms for the front... I think I would rather use the rear lowering kit instead of blocks. Any feed back on the look I will get. Should I use the 3" rear or the 4" rear to go with the 2 1/2 front drop.. Any pictures would help for ideas and stuff...

i tried using a generic drop block on the rear leaves on my 49 and ran into a problem with the axle. the perch on the axle was too narrow for the block and dropped into the lowering block. i am gonna have to go back and plate it so it wont drop into the aluminum block. the car already had a 2in block on it but it was solid steel. they weigh about a ton apiece. i was gonna stack 2 2in alum blocks just to get it low. i shoulda pulled a leaf or two while i had it torn down but i didnt. it supposedly has a drop spring in the front already but i dunno i havent torn into it.
