Monday the 2nd my Dog TiG Swallowed a piece of a fresh razor blade, I looked down and saw a broken razor blade on the floor in front of him, Pulled one piece out of his mouth, found the other piece except the one, sure enough in the X-ray there it was, didn't even cut his mouth from chewing on it, go figure, my shop is clean like a surgery room, just amazes me what a dog will pick up off the floor. So I'm running specials in the cl***ifieds on windows and all other products to re coop the money i just spent on emergency surgery for Tig. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Sincerely Steve Sellers.
My dogs will eat most anything too. You really have to watch them. Its fun that they will eat anything even if it doesn't smell or taste like food. The other day my dog swallowed a whole uncooked potato. Of course she puked it up again (whole),but before I could get it from her she ate it again. Then pucked it up again, but this time I was ready with a paper towel. It sure is gross but I do love my dogs no matter how goofy they are. Glad your dog is going to be ok.
Hope your dog pulls thru safe and sound. Find a meat counter that will sell you beef knuckles or knees, boil them for 10 minutes and give that to Tig to gnaw on.He can't swallow it,it won't splinter and you'll know what he's eating. The marrow in them will drive him wild. My lab loved those things and he was a "Hoover" too.
Yikes! Bump for Tig! I have actually been looking at buying some stuff from you far my roadster project.
Yes, a dog could die from "**** nick" poisoning doing that kind of thing. I have to make sure my twist tops make it into the bin. Apparently greyhounds love twist tops.
Oof! That's not good! Hopefully he recovers quickly and gets back to his regularly scheduled dog progams!
Bump fer TIG, I'm glad to see that tig is doing better and up and running again but, that dog loves to **** in my bar at my shop!!! that little big basterd!!
Most dogs are better that most people. We have two Great Pyrenees...140 lbs each... and I have always had two dogs. One ate a sock. It didn't turn up on by itself so...off to the vet. A bit of medicine and hopefully no surgery. the sock reappeared a few days later. No!! I didn't. I threw it out. Good thing he was cute. I wish to add my get well soon...no, get well NOW, Tig. Ben and Bogey add their best wishes along with mine.
Had a dog once that scarfed up an alka seltzer that I dropped on the floor. (no, I didn't do it on purpose). It's funny as hell to watch and hear a dog go around burping for an hour. Get well soon Tig.
