  2. I'm really sorry to hear about you losing your brother -- you guys obviously had something very special in your relationship. Keep his spirit alive in the work you do - he'll be watching from above and smiling. Hang in there and remember all the good and unique things that he was . . . every human leaves their mark.

So sorry to hear this. I work for UP as a Machinist. I work in the shop now but I spent my share of time in the yard. It's a dangerous place.

I'm sure a memo will go out about this in a day or so. They always notify us of fallen Brothers.

    RIP.

Please accept my deepest condolences... as a railroader for 31 years, I understand how dangerous the job can be. May God bless and keep you and your family.

This is coming from someone who has lost an older brother. I feel your pain. My older brother was my hero. He was rock solid. A great father and all around good guy.
It will take time for you to forget this sad event. In time you will only remember the good times and the bad will fade from memory. You and I know that the only two things you can depend on is family and friends. Here in the HAMB you have friends. May God look over your brother as you would. My prayers are with you.

  28. Winslow, I'm sorry to hear about your brother. I grew up in Herington. One of my friends called me about the accident, had no idea it was a relative. I have many friends that work on the RR and it was a sad day for sure >>>>.
