I'm getting ready to install a 69 camaro rearend in my '51 wagon and I need to know if I have to move the spring perches on it? , I know I have to drill a new hole for the pin to center it in thewheel opening, but is the perch width on the new axle the correct width for my stock springs. please advise me on this .
    thanks Brian.

You may want to consider Posies springs for this application. They make a set that fit your frame mounts and will match up with the Camaro rear end. You can use the stock ones but they really aren't designed to handle the torque twist you'll get when you use an open driveline.

no the camaro saddles are wider you'll need to get skinny perches from chasis enginering or where ever you can.
