New 55 Chevy Nut - Maryland

Hey from new 55 chevy nut - loved hotrods since I was 13 - now 48 and enjoying my 55 hardtop - I'm mostly a chevy guy but love all American vintage tin - Ford coupe in California Kid made a lasting impression - 69 Charger in Dirty Mary/Crazy Larry - Mustang and Charger in Bullit.

I hung around a group of guys in small town PA in early 70's who made a racecar out of a 55 chevy hardtop and ran it at York PA drags - ever since wanted a 55.

I love the hobby - nothing better than sitting behind the wheel and hearing the sound of my built 400 small block fire up before a cruise.

Hey Mike welcome, Your car is nice. Too nice. I think we need to put a straight axle in it, radius the wheel wells and add a 4 gear with fenderwell headers.
