Congrats on the truck Bobby. Looked AWESOME. Sorry we missed you over the weekend. Lucky for us Lucky played host and we had a really nice time at the shop on Friday night. The stuff in there just blew me away. We'll see you at B'ville if not before.
Hey Bobby, Great truck! What did you use for the front suspention ? Always looking for ideas for mine.
It a Volare front clip. Power steering, disc brakes, all that luxurious ****. It seems to work real well so far.
That's what I had in mind for mine, only mopar all the way since I have a 318, auto trans and rearend out of a 70 cuda that will all go with the Volare frontend my brother is giving me.
Bobby ...... Do you have tee shirts that color? Enough paint left over for a cooler? I can't wait to see it out on the salt!
in SoCalCarCulture's first pic, I know it's just the reflection of the fluorescents on the fenders, but I kinda dig the white lines running from front to rear. nice truck, Bobby! dan
I think there was one of those dashes at the father's day swap with maroon aligator skin or something on it! It was cool. The truck is just right.
Wow, I always wondered what became of my old Studepecker. Looking very nice. I started that truck way back in the mid 80s, but ran out of steam and $$$ and sold it about 10 years ago to a guy driving a Model A roadster. Is that you, or did it change hands? I had a small journal 327 and a Sag 4 speed in it at the time. I'm glad it fell into good hands
I love that truck....those old studie pickups look so sweet when treated to a little love and this one definitely is sweet
Here's a coupla pix when I had it during the Lost Years. I was thinking tweed, billet and all sorts of blasphemy
