My 65 Econoline

just picked it up last week, me and my brother pulled it in the garage lowered it and threw some color on it. going to get it pinstriped this weekend.

 

Nice van. how did you go about lowering it?

 

removed 2 leafs from the pack.

 

looks good. now a silver metal flaked roof would be cool. what motor does it have 170?

i think i got it figured out what that is on the roof!

 

the guy i picked it up from decided it was a good idea to cut the roof and put a pop out on it and make the frame out of wood. so i plan on gettin a canvas snap top for it. its to bad he did that the body is super solid. the van is origanly from california still has the black plates on it.

yeah, you can see them in the second picture, guy drove it 3 times back and forth from california in the past 8 years but it was originally there and was still ***led in california

Man, that first pic threw me for a loop and on a huge wave of nostalgia. I had the same van except my stripe was red. Sigh. I miss that old beast. Looks great. Wish I kept mine and showed it some similar love.
