A lot of talent there. Great project and congratulations. Also, thanks to Baileigh for the sponsorship.
Man I'm glad I didn't have to pick the winner....that's one tough decision with all the great entries! Congratulations! And thank you Baileigh
Congratulations CustomJ! I drooled over your work and have shown many non-HAMBers I know who work with metals and some who don't. They all agree with me. I'm realy glad you won. Very impressive and motivational. I'll get my wheel rolling again as soon as we get a little more warmth thanks, in part, to your posts. Fantastic for Baileigh to do this. Some people wondered out loud when you came on board what you would do for the folks here. I guess you showed them!
That was an awesome thread that got better and better as it continued. Tool will definitely get a good workout with you. TP
Stunning work, Custom J....a very well-deserved accolade. Great spirit indeed. And thank you Baileigh for the compe***ion and support. By the way, J doesn't live there anymore....you can send me his pick (bandsaw) and I'll make sure he gets it!
Just got off the phone with Jay. He is very, very excited. In fact, he was so excited, he couldn't even make up his mind on what machine he wants. I told him to sleep on it and give us a call in the morning. Sounds like a nice kid! Good job Jay!
I'm really impressed with a company that would give away machinery in a contest as this. I've seen and touched Jay's metal work and can say you made the right choice for your winner. He has a LONG future in metalwork ahead of him. Congrats!
