1930 tudor chop continued

    heres some more pics i have been workin on it a lil each day. i had a hell of a time gettin the rear vertical belt line to line back up but i finally go em pretty close more pics to come soon

  5. Try cleaning a little wider area around the weld INSIDE AND OUT and also work on making the cuts more precise. It will make your like MUCH EASIER.

    ok, its the first time i have chopped a top. thanx for the advise. the cuts started out real close but i didnt want to make any relife cuts so they ended up a lil wide on the back. i think with a lot of time i will be able to get them metal finished (hope)

    Smack dab in the middle of a chop on my '50 Merc myself. Great job....you seem to be making quick work of it. I am realizing that its not so much the tack welds as it is the finished welds that are so time consuming. The best advice i can give is to be patient and ENJOY IT!
