Hambers, I am trying to find out what kind of book my dad had when I was a kid. It was about five or six ish pages of black and white big daddy roth designs. There were about 6-8 designs on each page. It reminded me of a t-shirt ad book, but there were no prices or sizes or anything. Just the designs. I saw them in the early eighties, and have no idea where they disappeared to. Any info regarding this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! v/r Russ
I sold this catalog in a H.A.M.B. auction awhile back. It had black and white Roth designs like you described. Look familiar ? It was about 45 years old.
It didn't have a cover, but I bet thats in the ballpark. Any pics of the other pages, or ideas of where I may find another like it? v/r
Yeah i just bought a few of what i think you are talking about...http://www.mooneyesusa.com/pinstriping-toolbox-c-193.html Hope that helps.
It's an add book of Ed's stuff he put out back in the day. I've been looking for one myself. They sell on ePay for around a hundred bills.
Roth gave me a couple of those in '57 and '59 ,,when i hung out at his shop when my folks went to So calif on vacation & visit relatives ,,i started my own shop in Iowa copying his stuff with his regards ,,after a couple years in the Air Force ,,i went home on leave and my Mom had cleaned out my dresser and threw em all away ,,along with selling all my old baseball cards for a friggin' quarter in her garage sale ,,ya ,,bummer ,,
It might be the Ed Roth monster coloring book, ultra rare- about 150.00 bucks. I happen to have one in minty mint condition. A pic of the cover has been posted here a while back.
