I just bought a 54 belair and was looking through the trunk and found a old clock with a alarm set up on it. I looked at my car but mine has the factory one and this one is a little bigger diameter. I dont know if this is have a dash clock or just a alarm clock torn apart. The second pic is of the back, what I dont get is the long rod that comes out the back.
The alarm clock wasn't connected to a bunch of red sticks that sort of look like hiway flares, was it ...
Aw cmon it is a good looking clock face. And it was an honest question. hell with a little work the face could be used for automotive...ghost
Damn I ask one question I get ten replies and one person answered my question I know its all in fun just a lil overboard. Well thanks anyways, guess it just another wall piece.
I guess you fully understand what FNG now stands for. Don't get discouraged, this is a great place to hang around. Just gotta think sometimes before you type..................
That's a really cool face on that, I like it. Wonder if you could revamp it to use ? Maybe a newer elec.works in the back and just use the face and hands ?
Save the clock face, install it with a quartz drive in a hot rod. Tell every person a different story about what kind of car it came out of... Sit back and enjoy the debate.
Actually - you were TROLLING for 'overboard' when you used FNG for bait, and "what's this thing for" as a leader.... All in good fun, I ***ure you - thanks for the entertainment, and welcome aboard, matey. dj
