A couple of weeks ago I hydro planned real bad in my 54 Ford Crestline, fourth time out since being done. Well long story short I hit a cirb and brazed a tree, don't run mini spools on the street. The p***enger front side of frame is gone no hope getting it strait. Now I'm in a battle with insurance because they are too damned lazy to try and help get it fixed. The back half of the car and motor/trans are good, doors are great, no real reason to call it a total loss. I found a yard here that says they have a few 52-54 Fords sitting in their yard complete. Guy says he would take between $400-$500 depending on work involved to remove body, this price includes new p***enger fender. So my questions is what is the difference between 52-54 two door model frames. Please let me know asap so that I can rebute my claim with insurance for being idiots. If more info is needed let me know. Thanks
