i think most of those combo's would work well.

  8. I honestly think it looks killer right now. After all the time and money, it won't be any better of a color, only different. Trust me, just get in and drive it.

  9. Like i have said previousley it does need a panel and paint job in the not too distant future and I am owed one from a deal I made with my uncle a while back. I was just kickin around some ideas but i am leanin towards somethin diferent. And dont worry about it gettin driven, it's my daily and I drive the wheels off it

I would keep it as is. Here is a pic of one I had with a green roof. Youll have to ignore the rest of it.

I also like it as is in original paint, but with the chromies and WWW's.
Maybe you could save the owed paint job for your Es*** project.

I guess I was just tryin to say.......the wheels on it look 'boss' already !

The 5 or more grand you put into it (paid directly or not) will still leave you with a $5K Falcon.....and will only be about 10% cooler than it is now.

Tip your cash (and owed paint job) into a $10 Grand T-Bird, and it will be worth 20-25K.

An old-timer taught me....."yeah, you build a car outta love, but if you lose a couple grand on each car, you'll only build 2 or 3.
If you MAKE a couple grand on each car, the hobby will pay for itself and you'll do it all yer life!" :D

I think it's cool but if it were me, I think I would go with a bit of a darker green. I plan to do a gloss black bottom with a Dark green roof with my car.

  15. T-bird? why? one of my best buddies had a running licenced 62 T-bird with a 460 and bareley got for it what i paid for my falcon. The car is gettin painted either way. it's my daily and i wan it to be in good order and get the rust sorted out.

Autobilly, the es*** is way too far off to worry about a paint job i would probally need a ch***is and running gear before I worry about that. got to finnish the falcon and the willys first.

I would use the wheel/tire combo from the photochop on the car as it sits and run with it. Nice car btw. ;)

You can certainly make it shinier (or less shiny, if you go with suede), but I'm not sure the car will be any cooler. Weathered original paint has a certain vibe that is unlike any other look. Unless you just can't stand the current color, my opinion is to work on other stuff first, and worry about the paint later.
