I got myself a little 1946 Ford 1/2 ton and I am desperate for some photos of the original suspension and steering setup as I am missing quite a bit of it and need to know what to begin hunting. The truck is taken all apart and I know some stuff is in boxes but I would like to gather all missing pieces. So does anyone have some good pics or an old diagram of the system they could kick down to me? I know the centerlink is gone and had planned to make one up but need to see the original design before I decide on that. Thanks-
Perhaps you should be a bit more specific about what you need. I have a few bits about I mught be able to help with. Oh and where in Ok are ya?
I'm up in NW OKC. All I seem to have is the steering column, gear box, and of course the axle and spindles. Just missing everything that connects the steering gear to the rest of it. Sorry man, I have always had IFS and I just got this truck so I am trying to figure how it all goes back together and what is missing. If you have some stuff I may need, shoot me a PM and maybe we could meet up some time this weekend. Thanks
sorry about the ignorance guys. I was in quite the hurry this mornin'. All I really need is a pic of how the draglink hooks up to the gear box and to the spindle. I was hoping to be able to build my own tie rod set up and would like some pics of that as well.
