I'm at a total loss...... He's one guy i looked forward to meeting.. I admired him for building the bike's he did, and for doing it for the right reasons, because he loved it. May you rest in peace Larry.. We'll miss you. My deepest condolences to his family and friends on this sad day. Tony.
He was a true friend to our car club, he was always there. Paul Cox is gonna be devastated. I loved his style long before he became famous, his bikes were his vision, he didn't do things like anyone else. He was an inspiration. I'm as sad today as I was the day Roth died. The difference is is that Roth lived way longer and had done pretty much all that he had to do. Indian Larry was of our time, he kinda belonged to us, because the world finally caught up to what is going on with outlandish home built creations. I'm not saying that the average person has the tools and facilities to build a Monkey Wrench, but his early bikes were built with meager means that any one of us coulda built....if we had Larry's imagination. If the rumors I'm hearing are true, then it's possible that some heads might roll at The Discovery Channel. I'm gonna miss him, I wished I could've spent more time talking to him the few times I saw him. And oh yeah, I'm a nobody, but in Larry's eyes everyone who was a ******** grease monkey was his brother. RIP brother.
From what I have seen and heard about the man he was the real deal thru and thru. He lived life on the edge and I'm sure knew the dangers of it, people like Indian Larry would choose going out this way rather than rotting away in a rest home. Hope you find peace Larry.
I can't believe the death of a tatooed biker dude, who I only knew from TV, is affecting me the way it is. His life force was truly infectious...his p***ion overpowering. Hang on St Peter....it's gonna be one HELL of a ride! Godspeed Larry.
I saw the Indian Larry buildoff again over the weekend for like the fourth or fifth time. I never knew him, but goodbye anyway. ?

[/ QUOTE ] I know exactly what you mean. I have nothing for admiration for the guy... its a shame when the truly talented are taken from us. But, like its been said here many times already... at least he went out doing what he loved and he lived his life like he wanted.
You know I saw this dude on "the biker build off" like 3 days ago. Never even heard of him, yet this really touches me so much. He impressed me, he wasn't fake like those kats on american chopper or american hotrod. If he was anything in real life like he was on that show I wish I could have met him. He was just building a bike and nobody in his shop got in a stupid argument about where a bracket should be placed on the bike. No one threw tools at each other. Just teamwork, coming together to build a kick *** bike. I feel like I have really missed something by not knowing him. And i'm glad his bike outgunned that straitlaced dude's smoothie bike.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--'WOW, what a ride!!! A man of style and cl***, condolences to the family.
Damn, what a day! Hooligan called me this morning and told me the news. I never knew Larry but still couldn't shake the terrible feeling of loss. He will be missed for his talent and inspiration. May his family and friends be comforted at this time...
[ QUOTE ] Man I didn't want to hear this. [/ QUOTE ] I know me neither.... Dont really know what to say....RIP Indian Larry
There's no real good way to reply to this. It ate at me all day...at least he died doing what he loved.
Goodbye Indian Larry,Your p***ing means one less REAL person in this world where theres very few REAL ones left.may you ride forever on your steel horse in the sky!
damn, never got the oppertunity to meet larry but sure seemed like my kinda guy... ....i'll keep the machanicalness in it for you......rest in peace
I didn't know him, I also didn't see him on TV. I haven't watched actual TV for about 6 or 7 years now. Hell, I just found out about this guy through people mentioning him on here and I saw his pic in "the Horse" when I flipped through it in the supermarket.... So what do I have to say about him then? He seems like one HELL of a character. I woulda liked to have met him. Live now ladies and gentlemen....you never never know whats around the next turn. The difference between life and death is always just a matter of inches and seconds.
Man this ****s! I don't think Daytona will ever be the same. He was a Legend in his own time. We should be so lucky to go out like he did, doing something he truly loved doing. My prayers go out to the friends and family. RIP Indian Larry.
Seems weird, but all day I thought about this. Someone I never met, didn't know personally, but somehow deep down, you know the world was better with his energy in it. You can't say that for a lot of people. Cash, Roth, ...Larry.

I am going to add this. You all know that Indian Larry is going to have one helluva ****in funeral. All walks of life in the custom world being that of bikes and cars are going to be there to pay the respect that he deserves. I have witnessed a Hells Angels gathering to one of their fallen brothers and I tell ya this is going to be BIG!!. All of the chapters are going to be there for they all new Larry and loved what he had did for the biker world. 3rd Street Crew. Long Island chapter. The Roc chapter . That is just name a few in the NYC area. It is going to be Imense. Jesse James. Billy Lane. Ron Simms. All of those in the biz. Why? Cause Larry was that type of guy and still is in everybody's hearts and minds. Enough said. R.I.P. Fallen One.................
