Future father in-law Twisted Okie has been a god send on this project. Also my buddy Max, Ken Reeves, Larry Rash, G V Gordan, my pops, and about 300 others it seems. There have been so many people helping with ideas and even a little labor. Some times it seems like to many chiefs and not enough indians. But everyone's heart is in the right place. I couldn't be luckier to have a group of guys around that want my car done as bad as I do. Thanks guys!!

My unsung here is definitely my father. He's not with us anymore and he never even see any of my cars but he definitely made me the man that I am and gave me my love mechanics and working hard. He also told me to take care of my family first and foremost which puts things in perspective. I Miss him dearly.

If we are talking actual hands on help..so far Lone Wolf on that.
But I have had alot of help from friends for tools and machines i dont own.
and alot of help from HAMBers who have been down the Model A build road.
My 10year old daughter has come out to help , but i keep it to the very safe stuff, and
I have had my wife hold the other end of things that are too long for me to handle my self:eek::rolleyes::D

Another vote for Dad. He's the one who taught me how to do it or at least how to figure it out. And he's the only one I'd let fab up something. Everyone else hands off, cause your not going to do it as good as I want it done.
I love to have the kids help, they're good for holding stuff on the other side of the firewall.
I've also found that the first 2 cans of PBR are always nice to have over for garage time. When they bring their friends though I start getting distracted.

My 2 yr old HAS to be in the garage when I am. Can't say he's much help but he's the only one of a wife and five kids who's interested in what I'm doing. He gets the first ride when the roadster is done.

My son Mitch has been invaluable on this build.

We have both been learing as we go and we kind of sharpen one another.

I pretty much let him (make him? :) ) do the welding on the sheet metal. He has a natural talent that I don't.

My neighbor Manny who was just eleven at the time. Manny got the first ride around the block when we fired it up. For helping me with the build I took him to the bike store and said pick out any bike you want. Manny was on cloud nine. Down side of this is his dumb ass father is a jealous hater and doesn't like him helping me anymore. There are some backwards ass fucking people on this planet and they seem to drive minivans.

Manny's mom let's him still come over though.

I guess being 30 miles away from my friends keeps them from coming to help me very often. When they do come over we just hang out in the shop because it's usually more fun catching up than wrenching. I tend to do things my way and prefer to do them alone so I rely on Lincoln, Craftsman, Ingersoll-Rand, Makita, DeWalt, Pabst, Camel, and Red Bull, just to name a few.

But, credit goes to my dad for learnin' me the majority of the things I know now. He's still one of the first phone calls I make if I can't figure something out. My 2 younger brothers also have the disease and are always willing to help when I'm back home. Then theres my bud RJ and his dad that are always there to help. My creative redneck genius friend Mike who can make shit from nothing. My friends in the Kreatures, and a handful of Austinites like Tyler(Outlaw), Dusty(Du$ty), Arlo(LUX BLUE) are always just a phone call away if I need an answer, a part, or a source for something. Can't forget my gal for being there and being supportive when times are tough. I'd like to think that I've been a help to all of these guys and others, and I'd drop whatever I was doing if they needed a hand. And I can't forget to mention all of the HAMBers, as well as the HAMB itself, if it weren't for this website, I'd be lost...or atleast more lost than I already am.

Mine would have to be Adam Watkins. The cat let me park my heap in his Driveway for four months, full use of his shop and tools, helped me with the build after work EVERY evening, found parts and trailers, cut and welded, borrowed heavy machinery to lift the body, not to mention, his lovely wife frequently invited me to join them for dinner. Hell, The guy even gave me a job to help finance the build!

Were it not for all his help, I never woulda' gotten my ol' Cosmo runnin' in time for Bonneville.

My creds goes to my friend Benny, who has helped me with a few of my cars
through the years. Here's my -40 Merc outside his garage after he helped me
out working on the chassis and also doing some body mods.

...and also my good friend Wolf, my kustom soulmate and metalwizard.

...and of course other friends helping out when needed, Andreas, Niklas (RIP),
Nick, Pelle, Klas... You guys are great!
