so about 9 years ago when I was 16 me and my dad built a 400m with a c6 trans from scratch in my bedroom back home was built to be a mild race motor (400hp range if I remeber right). In the end I had to s**** the car it was going in and head off to school. So the motor was crated up and put into storage. Now Im at the point in my life were I have a place and can afford to start a new project, and I've been bummed that we never finished our "father & son" project... its really the only thing we did together. So Im thinking of buying a rolling ch***is, prepping it for a 400m, and then having my dad bring the motor up from texas so we can finish and start this motor for a change. When we're done I plan on giving him the car, hes always put me and my siblings first and hasnt been able to have a car to tinker with. Everytime I was out working on the many projects he was always wanting to be involved, but usually my ***** *** stepmother wouldnt let him. That really pissed me off at times, because you could always see it in his eyes that he wanted to come out and "play". Now I wanted some suggestions of ch***is, I am still on the budget with about $6k. I was thinking 48-54 ford coupe/sedan and doing a g***er style, but open for anything really. sorry about the ranting on...
