1989 I was driving a Ford Ranger to an Off Road Racing Championship in the California, Baja, and Nevada deserts. The daily was a Ford F350 Crew Cab Dually that was the tow vehicle and a new Harley was the weekender. Ahhh, good times

I was 11 and had just bought my first car, Saab 96. Painted red scallops on it when I was 13. Drove on my granpa's field with no mufflers! :D

In 89 I was driving a 37 Plymouth Business Coupe to work - and everywhere. Chris Stovall helped me install the 440. The cool thing about that 440 engine block, was the casting date was the day he was born - not just his birthday - the same day the same year. We found it in a Pick A Part. What are the odds on that? The first pic was at Sand Canyon and the 5 Fwy in El Toro Feb 1989.
