Hot Rods Rudog's Coupe on the Cover of Rod and Custom..Congrats Brother!!!

Rudi's coupe made it on the cover of Rod and Custom.. And well deserved!!!
Not only is the coupe bad ***!!! but Rudi is a real cool dude.. Super talented...
he built this car in his back yard (except for paint..by Nick-o-Teen and upholstery Dave Martinez) and not a detail was missed... Super proud of you bro!!! now go drive the piss out it...

Dave Shuten (from Mysterion Clone and Astro Sled fame) finished the Resto on th Ice Truck just before Detroit last year. He just finished up the Milk Truck which will be going to Detroit this year.

No, in all respect to Rudy Rodriguez....It's Rudi Hillebrand.

Wow!! Thank you...I never thought I'd ever be in Rod & Custom Magazine!! Then to be on the cover was the Cherry on top!!...When I got the email last November to be in a Top Secret Studio for Rod & Custom on such & such day at 9am sharp w/ the Coupe. I thought Rad!! I'm really going to be in R & C just like Nick O'Teen said!! I had to have a 9 page Book report & Story how it came to be. Well, they basically printed everything in the story & they didn't leave anyone who had to do w/ the build out! that made me happy. So, We did it!!!!! meaning we means: Nick Hanson/Nick O'Teen. Nick hasn't really got enough credit in the past for cars, bikes he's built & painted. But this Coupe would No way have been in R & C if it wasn't for him!!! He threatened me that he wasn't going to paint my car Suede & that it was going to be Glossy paint and that Suede is out!!! I told it's my car!! he said it's in my shop!!! So, I think a wise choice to listen to him.....BTW: if you need anything painted, built or made Bad ***!! email me & I'll hook you up w/ Nick O'Teen. Thanks to my Girlfriend Emily for putting up w/ "The other Woman"(The Coupe) & all the moodyness that came w/ the build. Thanks to Rick Stine for helping me ***emble the Flathead in my Garage. Mike Herman & Max Herman Sr. @H& H Flatheads for the machining. Chopper Sandy Wachs for introducing me to Dave Martinez. Dave drove down from Indiana w/ his sewing machine in his truck, got a speeding ticket & lived w/ us till he finished my upholstery. Dave has a new upholstery shop in Burbank. Thanks Ojai Rick for coming through w/ that 3 speed ****** when I really needed it .

I'm really still in shock over the whole thing about being in Rod & Custom magazine. It's a great issue also!! Dan Wood's Ice Truck is Bad ***!! Ray Richard's 51 Merc is really nice! Jerry Eckholt's 32 Five window Coupe! a history of Dry lake pioneers! Pat Ganahl's 52 Chevy! It's an Honor to be in R & C & w/ these other great cars!!! Thank you Rod & Custom magazine, Kevin Lee & Aaron Kahan!! thank you, thank you.....
