Jeezus some of you guys take all the fun out of things. Reminds me of other people I know in the hobby who take all this crap too seriously, too.
How come when one of the more "popular" guys posted the pic of the idiot welding under the truck that was propped up, we didn't have the pissing and moaning about this being a traditional hot rod board and such? It's like a big clique sometimes.
I thought the post was funny, and once again logging into the HAMB brightened my day. Can't have that too much more, now can we? There's serious rodding issues to discuss here.
(while I think about it, isn't it about time for a Bad Joke Tuesday post or something?)

The hood print remined me of a pair of hand prints on a hotel wall my wife and I saw--they were about waist high, and upside down, with the thumbs pointing outboard. We couldn't figure it out until my wife stepped up to the wall and put her hands in the prints...no sense only going half way with the recreation...oh no! The HAMB is responsible for me smiling again!

No, it's not that the whole worlds hates this place, but some people who I know could contribute to this board refuse to come. Hell even Ryan has told people to lighten up latley. I just don't get why people feel like they have to gang up and others here.

My cackling sarcasm was completely inspired by the very notion that the HAMB would get a bad name! The irony is spectacular. The HAMB is a bad name, and the oldies wouldnt have it any other way. Clean it up? Might as well call it the FordBarn. Or the SRS. Or West Coast Choppers. Or So-Cal Speedshop. Or TGIFridays.
You know how in 'anytown' theres that little dumpy bar with pool tables and dollar-beers and dirty floors and great music you dont have in your musical stash, and the occasional fistfight and trashy-women and copbusts? Thats the HAMB. You dont take your wife there, or walk your granddaughter past it, or admit to spending too much time there. Thats what TGIFs is for. But sometimes those places become popular and new people come in and pretty soon they want stuff like imported beers and toilet paper and sushi, and the old barflys are sitting there asking "whaappen?".

Your right, people are leaving. If they're newbies and their toes get stepped on, F-em if they cant take a joke. But oldies are leaving too, cuz it is getting a little PMS-y lately. What to do? I dont know, I think its just what comes from getting so big. Personally I love it when the shit starts flying(HankCash is becoming my new hero) and I think some of the flare-ups have been silly..."there was a flash of naughty-bits in that photo and Im deeply traumatized"...to me, if youre on the HAMB be thankful thats all it was.

I agree with you 100%. And I kmew you would bring up the bad name vs."BAD NAME" thing.Yes this place has the "Fuck you if you don't like it" attitude. And it's one thing to mess with poeple. Believe me, where I work, if you can't handle being messed with your in the wrong line of work. What I mean is people just simply ganging up on others or better yet two people can have the same view on something but if one of them is'nt one of the well liked/respected on here that person gets heckeled for the same thing that the other person did not.
