Hi here is my Winter Project. 59 4 door Chevy Bel-Air.
Just got this car delivered a few weeks ago. I'll be doing
4 door to 2 door conversion. Also taking the body off the frame. Here is link to a slideshow. http://www.vuvox.com/my_vox/0e95339f1#presentation=0eb228deb

Looking good... I'll be checking back for updates.

  5. I like the way the front bumper is bent, it's like the car is trying to copy that Elvis Presley kind of sneer...

Damn, I guess I like to do it the easy way with donor 2 door sedan doors. I was a bit worried to see both doors welded together about 6 feet long, but now that I see it in one piece it looks very good, and no donor pieces necessary. Impressive.

It was easier then I thought. The contour of the rear door was the same as the front door. So I had no problem. I got all the 2 door parts I needed before cutting it up. New gl***, moldings, fuzzies, window channels. So I did not need a donor car for parts. One side is now complete. The p***. side will be done soon. Kept checking the website for progress.

Entonces no tuve ningún problema.
