hey folks this is my first post so let me give you some background.

I am a dirt track racer out here in Montana, and well, I wrecked a car pretty bad a few years ago and decided that should try to build a hot rod outta all the parts!!! I know crazy.... Anyways, I got a steel 28 body, little rust and a few bullet holes........ I built a frame outta 2x4 tube....put a Welder Series crossmember in it (Highly recomend the welder series stuff)......well, then I started partin out the wrecked modified.

My question is this......in dirt racing we run hiem joint connections for suspension........I am putting my floater 9" under the car and am lookin for opinions on my 4 bar connections.......I have fabbed my mounts, and not sure if I should use rubber bushings since this "race car" wont be seeing much dirt......

I will try to get some pictures up of my progress, I can't even tell you the amount of time I spend on this forum checkin stuff out..

I use 3/4 heims and high misalignment spacers on the uppers and poly bushing on the lowers. Using the heims and high misalignment spacers will allow horz and vert mounting for the uppers. Look at the pics, you see what I'm talking about

Most heims these days are kevlar lined and last a long time

Just finished this up on my A tonight

it tuff when you have a coupla race car sitting around the back yard......economy ****s, so no racing gotta do something with them........I was thinking one of my 500 horse mod motors would scoot a hotrod along nicely......
