You should post it on the Northwest Hamb group http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=110 Theres a lot of guys from Washington that might know
I'm pretty well connected over here, and the only one I've ever heard of on the Oly Pennisula would be Bob Packet. I'll check with him and get back to ya. Bantum roadster, Right? The guy in the Bud hat is still around. I see him at events in the area from time to time. B
Hey Al welcome to the darkside... I almost have that front-end I got from you mounted up... Hope you have luck finding the info you need..talk at you soon... Ryan
Yes that is Jesse... He's a very gifted guy... he did an awesome paint job on my bike a couple of years ago and he had a 32 roadster in the Seattle Roadster show he built for a client last year... Won it's cl***... Anyway, I sure appreciate your efforts! Al
Ryan! I was so stoked to see your message... After I sent you the front-end setup ya kinda disappeared from that forum... I was starting to wonder if maybe I'd been had and it was just resold on eBay or something... so to hear from you was just great!
I totally remember seeing this car run! And get this, cuz its too funny! I'm in this picture! I'm the guy with the black tee on, my buiddies are on both sides of me! Can't believe it! -Shiny
No **** eh! We cruised down there in my buddies, '68 Beaumont. Everyone thought we were aliens in it. to quote a guy we met on Alkai Beach... " that things got a gosh darn GTO grill in it" hehehe Ol'Beet or Feder should know of this car you'd think. what about one of the guys that organise the arlington Re-union? -Shiny
Shiny, Thanks for the suggestion... I was able to find a number for them so they will follow up on it... Thaks again!
Jesse Welch lives in my town. The body shop I work at did the body work and paint on that deuce roadster. It is a very very nice car. Jesse is working on a el camino g***er project.
I'm curious... why would Jessie, a master painter (EasyRider magazine quote) with his own paint booth have a shop paint his project?
I actually did paint it, They did the prep, and I shot it in their booth cause mine was booked. Then they buffed the clear to save me time. I was prepping and painting the frame in my booth at the same time so we could get the car in the Seattle show which was fast approaching. Got it there and won our cl***, Touchdown!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry I started after they did the roadster, guess it was a mis communication. I am sorry about that Jesse.

I remember that car! Good luck finding it. I used to buy a lot of stuff from their stores. Do you know any of it's history of owners? Maybe someone might know someone if some of that info. was known and shared.
