my 49 first chop job

    [​IMG]">ive been working on my 49 shoebox... first time chopping a top.lowered the front with dropped spindals,, have to lower rear still thinking midnight blue with wide whites... just have to finish shaving it ect..what do you think.. cant wait to start my next one..[​IMG]">[​IMG][​IMG]

    [​IMG] 5 1/4 front rear... im thinking about 6 or 7 i the rear. slanted pillars.. also..

    i figure about 40 hrs so far.. at first i was thinking boy how am i gonna fill that big rear gap ..but no turning back now.

    Looks good to me . I've been chopping a 41 chev for about 10 years. well not steady 4 10 years. Are you a body man ? I'm not. Soundsd like your on your way to a neat ride:)

    no body man ......bicycle builder www.firebikes.com.... but love rods... have no cash to buy a chop top so.. chop it myself.. learn as i go..i thnk it will look cool when its done.

    Thats legit man. Been working on my 51 shoebox chop for a week or so. Hope it turns out as nice as yours. Any advice?

    how much did you take out of the front and how much out of back??

    On your web site, you have the word FLUID badly misspelled under where it says "Bad to the Bone"...you might want to fix that. Nice car. Nice bikes, too.
