Stock Ride height for a Model A ?

    Does anyone know what the stock Ride Height for a Model A is? I want to get an idea of what Im starting with before I make decisions about Z'ing and such.

    In the Model A "Restorer" series it only lists 9" road clearance. I would guess this is from the bottom of the front axel. I looked through seven(7) volumes and this was the only reference.

    It strange... you'd think this number was readily availible with all the Frame mods people have done over the years.

    This from Jim [Lowride] who actually measured his stock Model A's... Thanks Jim !!

    Hi;
    Average distance from bottom of frame to floor was 18". I took measurements on four cars at the midway point of door.
    Hope this helps.
