He's the guy who striped the Paul Silva Bonneville/Drag Roadster in Don Ferguson's collection before they washed it off and had VonDutch redo it. A great craftsman and Rod & Custom icon. A**** others, he built the brand new custom Toronado for a Houston oilman. Happy Birthday!
When I was in junior high Dean had a shop off of Hollywood Blvd. A good friend of mine had built a model sailboat in wood shop and we took it to Dean. My friend asked if he could paint the hull candyapple red and he did it. What a great guy and always has helped people throughout his career. Best wishes to Dean. The FOGGER
Dean Jeffries Auto Styling‎ 3077 Cahuenga Blvd W, Los Angeles, CA‎ - (323) 851-5678‎ I met Dean a few weeks back and he invited me to stop by his shop. I dropped in for a chat, and had a close look at his Mantaray, GT40 Spyder and '33 Ford street rod. Deane is a great guy and would likely appreciate a Birthday call...
I used to drive by almost everyday and check out what was going on at the Cahuenga shop on the way to work on Lankershim Blvd. A true craftsman. Happy Birthday! Bart
Hell yeah, Dean's a cool guy! I gave him a call before the GNRS and we stopped to visit him. That is certainly a day I will never forget! Happy Birthday Dean! He is actually a registered HAMB member now, thanks to Denise. (although, I kind of doubt he's logged on since they set the account up) A few other photos from that day: (some of Denise's photos) Malcolm
I just got off the phone with him and he sounded great. Was having the shop painted and a little lunch with some friends over. He was sharp as ever and said the book only contains a fraction of the cars he has built. He is even thinking about another book. Always going a 100 miles an hour!
