Thursday afternoon September 30th and Friday morning October 1st at Harris Ranch. We have a little group planning to head over. We will be there possibly late Thursday, but for sure early Friday morning. Then down to Bakersfield Friday night. Who else is going? Neal
I'll be there. Hopefully I'll be driving my '52 F1, if I can get the cyl. head back on it and enough shake down time before then. If I'm not in the truck, I'll be in my '57 Ranch Wagon. See ya there.
If you don't get there 'til Friday morning you'll miss the best part. If you get there Friday afternoon you might miss it completely because we'll probably be out terrorizing the countryside.
Yep, We (Morty, BarnYardChevy, and a bunch of other people) are planning on making the yearly caravan on Thursday AM (9/30) from Long Beach to Coalinga... All are welcome to join... Mike
I'll be there. If the '36 can make it to Bonneville and back it can surely make it to Coalinga. Wayno
Mike said....Yep, We (Morty, BarnYardChevy, and a bunch of other people) are planning the yearly caravan on Thursday AM (9/30) from Long Beach to Coalinga... All are welcome to join... I'll be joining the caravan again- I think it's more fun than the hot rod reunion!
I wont have anything to drive. The old-heap is now someone elses *****, and the new-heap wont be ready til early Nov. Someones trying to coerce me into being a drinkholder/p***enger again, so I might be there. (Actually,Im just trying to duck out of buying Neals lunch this time!) Lets just be sure someone brings a case of oil and some JB-Weld for Mike.
And I'll hopefully be there in my A roadster instead of on some Italian motorcycle! Looking forward to hanging out with Chuck, Frank, and the rest of the gang...
Kev and I will be there along with the gang from Long Beach. I may be towing the race car or maybe not. For those that have never been there, It is the most fun you can have with a bunch of guys. Plan on being there {Harris Ranch} in the early afternoon Thursday. We all get togeather at the back of the hotel. Then the fun starts tiur kicken, lies, bench racing. Maybe a little swimming, beer drinken picture looken, a run or two up and down the lot or maybe a spin out in the dirt lot. Lotta steak eating story telling and more fun than you've ever had and of course more lies. This is one cool get togeather. Homeresque if ya need a ride we have room, so come on guys this is one cool gig.--TV

Got there Friday morning about 8 or so and decided to eat first. After breakfast went out back and all that was left was the HopUp tents. Last year and this year in Famoso Thursday. The Old Bald Guy
I got a flyer for the show today, wish I could go. BTW who the hell sent those out and where did you get my name and address? I dont remember signing up for any mailing list.
I will touch base with EvilT but I am pretty sure we would be in. You gonna run out of Atascadero first? We can link up with you from there. What about Paso this weekend? True
Copshopcoupe, the trip home was *****in. Everything was going so well I decided to blast up to Twin Falls, Idaho and visit my kids. THEN I drove home. Excellent test drive of about 2200 miles total. I'm figuring on driving up for World Finals in October. Wayno
Wayno, you've got grade 8 balls for driving your '36 on that trip. I think you had more fun than all of us put together. I'll see you in Coalinga on Thursday. I'm bringing the sign in disc.
Does anyone have a copy of the flyer for the RCN that they could e-mail or fax to me? 805-781-6342 (fax) Thanks, Neal
[ QUOTE ] Flyers? This has always been a word of mouth deal. What's with the flyers? [/ QUOTE ] Well that's what I thought too. Muttley said he got a flyer, so I thought I was missing out on something. Neal
I'll confirm with Morty, but we usually meet at the Gas Station at the 91 & Cherry Ave in Long Beach... There is usually a meeting point in the valley as well, I don't remember where... I'll find out. M-
Harris Ranch Inn, (800) 942.2333, Back Parking lot South East Corner. The gr*** is there. Interstate 5 at the Coalinga Exit. Just South of the Harris Ranch Stock Yards. It's an Oasis. 'Bout halfway between Sacramento and LA. Sept. 30th, Thursday afternoon before CHRR. Hang out, BS, etc. Ain't no Car show folks, it's a gathering of like minded Boneheaded car Folks. Friday there may be an excursion for lunch or??? Who knows? It's pretty low key, that way the wrong people don't show up for trophys. There is a Motel 6 across I-5 as well as the Valley Inn or something. Don't mention anything to the HARRIS RANCH FOLKS! It's on the sly... I won't be there til Friday
[ QUOTE ] I won't be there til Friday [/ QUOTE ] Bummer! I guess I'll have to consume your ration of whiskey and ceegars.
I'll be there Friday morning in my big yellow F1 with Gilmore logos on the doors. Can't Wait, Boy Howdy!
It's confirmed... The HOP-UP Caravan is meeting at the Chevron on the west side of the 91 at Cherry Blvd in Long Beach at 9 AM on Thursday (9/30). Come-on... Call in sick for something besides the Brown-Bottle Flu for once! Mike
As it stands, I'm boiling out of here 1:30 Thursday afternoon in the "Elmobile"(tm). Damn it Don. Save ME some. Wayno
