This is from the Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb in Colorado Springs. They have a website with many more like it. Very cool.

  4. What is the diner picture from? It's got Pontiacs from 1954 to 1958 lined up in a row.

I think that diner is at the Gilmore Museum north of Kalamazoo. A lot of car clubs go there to take pics.

Rosies Diner is near Grand Rapids MI (if it's still there). Back in 2000 a bunch of Pontiacs from the POCI club did a side trip there in connection with the annual get-together.

Rosies is still there, and hasn't changed much. There's also a diner just east of Grand Rapids called "Pals" During the 28th st. Metro Cruise (which is patterned after the Detroit, Woodward Dream Cruise) is a great place to hang out and cool the motor.

Why did Women seem so naturally beautiful back then?? None of this "bolt on" stuff or "nip and tuck". I think we ate better too. Thanks for sharing.

I think 60s Drag Racing is pretty cool and yes I know the Impala picture is not from the 60s.
