Hi all I am new too this site and yes I am Canadian. I have a 1961 & 1962 C10's that will hopefully make one nice street rod. The 62 was my grandfathers and the first truck i drove when i got my licence but the frame didn't last so this past Nov 2008 after 10 years of looking I found a frame by chance. What i mean by chance is running late to get my son to swimming lessons i decide to take a shortcut and try and save time but as fate would have it i found the 61 sitting by the road for sale easy to say my son was late to swimming but i had the frame i needed. So anyone that has some hints for me. I would love to hear them as this is my first frame off build up project.
I had a 63 a 65 and a 66. Nice truck to rod....The frame on mine rotted by the split ch***is on the coil springs, not an easy fix but now that you got the frame,,,get started, any plans or play it by air? Welcome to the hamb! You got questions someone here has an answer!

Hey fellow enthusiast. Cool truck. A SoCal Welcome to You. You'll find plenty of opinions and help here (good and bad;-) My advice to you is: One bolt/ part at a time, picture it, clean it, decide what to do with it, record that, bag it, tag it and store it Mike www.Customikes.com
