I was working in the parts dept. of a chevy dealership when Dale died .People were there monday morning beating down the doors to buy all the shit that we had.The owner and my boss told us to take all the pricetags off the items so we could run the prices up on it all.I'm not a fan of nascar or Dale (just not in to it)but this was real shitty in my opinion.Unscrupulous stuff like this is one of the reasons I don't work there anymore.But on the other hand I had some limited edition Dale sr. diecast cars that I aquired while working there that I traded for the exhaust on the 54 that I was to broke to pay for.I guess that makes me a hypocrite.
I never met Indian Larry but from what I've seen and read it seems to me he was the real deal.It's a shame to lose anyone in any field who lives and breathes what they do.It's a loss for everyone.
