I'm in the process of booking a few more bands for the Shakedown this August. I'm looking for input from you guys... I need two or three groups that can make the show "sizzle".

I need names and contact info of your favorite bands from the upper midwest... or ???

Who would YOU like to see...

My vote for Kevin Fayte and the Fortunes. Get a hold of SickboySlick13 on here, he slaps a mean bass.

  11. Just a suggestion-before you sign a contract with any bands, see what there technical rider requirements are.

This would include stage production layouts, sound system demands, hotel rooms, catering, removing the green M&Ms from the bowl, etc.

I"ve dealt with enough bands to know that sometimes signing a contract with the band means it will cost you an additional 10-20K in there rider requirements.

Hopefully not with the kinds of bands you are dealing with, but just something to consider.

The One Night Standards from the Quad Cities. Surf Music, no pesky lyrics to confuse you. :)

Zamfir and the enchanting sounds of his magical skin flute...........almost as good as Yanni's "brown note"
