    Has Any One Ever Rebuilt Rear Knee Actions Shocks On A 47 Chevy. And Where Would One Get The Kit To Rebuild Them With.

    "Usually" there is no need to rebuild unless it has been left open and innards are contaminated, just fix exteranl leaks with new cork gaskets. It's doubtful that you will find oem gaskets, I would make my own.

    There was a post late last year about a shop in Texas that has alot of NOS parts. Hopefully someone on here can remeber it and let you know. I don't know where you live, but here in Cincy, I would go to a Car Quest auto parts store and have them look it up.

    Google Chevs of the 40's,they have an exchange,don't know if they sell rebuild a kit.
