  4. Saw the new Powerglide magazine, Mike Zenor has some on his model a coupe, real cool.

    Zenor has them on his coupe and they pop up on ePay every now and then for around $200 to $300 unless they are mis-listed and the sell for a whole lot less.

    That cheap? I saw three in so so shape at a swap meet a few years ago and the guy wanted 2 grand...then again it was pomona...

    Didn't they also make a 200 that was a three bolt? I thought thats what that was...

    I have 4. 3 with box like that, and I didn't pay nearly that much but I haven't seen any for sale lately either.

    Yes they made two different models.
    They only produced a few hundred or less before going bankrupt never getting them to actual production.
    If you are interested on how they actually run ask rustypipes. He can tell ya.

    That's cool, it's a variable venturi carb, sort of like a vintage predator. Neat.

    How well do these things run? Thinking about a pair of them on my 53 Studebaker flathead 6 cyl with an Edmunds intake and head.
