Hey! So I'm new around here. I'm a 19 year old girl that loves off-roading and has just gotten into cars as well in the past couple of years. My boyfriend has 5 trucks, 2 which he takes to Route 66. The first time I went in Sept 2007, I was hooked! Checking out all of the cars, seeing how creative everyone is, it was all so awesome! My boyfriend just bought me a 1949 4 door Ford Sedan (I think he felt bad for having 2 and me not having any) that is completely gutted, but I figured that's okay... now I can just start from scratch. So I guess we'll just see how the rest goes.
Welcome to the HAMB! I can see by your pic that you're going to get a lot of welcomes.... especially from the guys. LOL.. Now, get to work on that Ford!

Haha... sorry Customikes... I don't have any girl friends that are into cars. Most of my friends are guys. I guess that's what I get for being into Off-roading and Cars!
Welcome! I felt so bad about my girl not having a car i got her a Falcon last spring. Good to see more girls getting involved!
madmal04. You don't think that I'd be the only one thinking that do you? No worries. I'm married to a understanding wife that only started to suggest limiting our vehicle inventory when it almost reached 40... Enjoy your time here. You should be able to find some good friends and help here. If you or anyone else are close to IE or as stated earlier 951 or willing to drive out here, Please come down to our morning Cruise on Hamner at 4th in Norco. Its in the parking lot next between Carl's Jr and Yum Yum donuts every Saturday between 8-10:00 am. No restrictions, dues or rules. Everyone is welcome. We've even had show tow trucks, a school bus, a show semi tractor along with the a's, deuce's, mopars, trucks and muscle cars There's a link to the Norco Cruisers website on my link page and I've added it to the Hamb calender Mike www.Customikes.com

Glad to have you here, look forward to your participation. The best automatic transmission technician I ever knew was named Sue. Her husband owned a garage, only thing Jimmy would do to an automatic transmission was take it out, put it on Sue's workbench, and put it back in when she finished it. Nobody else touched her workbench or her tools. Sue was a very petite woman, about 4' 11", she said having small hands was an advantage working on transmissions.
