I'm pretty sure the Hampton Inn is just across the freeway from the Museum. Not far at all, under half a mile. New hotel. Not too fancy, but nice and clean.

Will both of Big Daddy's buildings be open to the public or those at the event, or just an outside carshow? Just the museums are worth visiting, not to mention getting to meet all of the Hambers. We stopped in last year on the ride home from Disney, that's the only way I would agree to spend 1 1/2 weeks at Disney. We stopped in just after some sort of show in July. I remember several Corvairs leaving as we enterred. Told the wife the boys and I would be right back as she sat in the car. Like 3 hours later we came out of the first building to check on her before enterring the second building. We had a blast. I'm going to take my dad to BPF, so see everyone there.

Registered cars get one free admission to the Museums. Tickets for the Museums are for sale at the gift shop. Both buildings will be open for ticket holders.

The show on the lawn is pretty derned good, the Museums alone are worth hours of entertainment.

Been to the museum twice before. My wife and I are taking a spring vacation down that way same time as the show so I am looking forward to it even though just as a spectator cause my shoebox is apart for wiring, paint and interior. The Great White North spring is unpredictable so I don't think I would drive my baby down that time of year anyway.

  21. Let's set up a caravan. Who will be on I-10 west bound through Lower Alabama, on Friday?
