hi i have been looking for a 49--51 2d sedan i have found one it is solid well every thing but the floor and rockers & trunk all gl*** is good dash with all the nobs seat frame is there front /back missing engine but has the 3-speed transmission think it is worth $600 not looking at a show stoper just a fun old car found all the patch panels i need for $1800 thanks for any help
all 49-51 have the same rust issues in the floor and rockers. not that big of a deal. everythings available if you don't fab yourself. you won't beat that price and it's a popular enough car to get rid of if you ever decide to. jump on it!
Some states will issue a new ***le if you get a bill of sale when you buy it. You'll have to ask your local DMV.
If you have the cash and it is what you want BUY IT! Dont wait because it will not be there, I also looked at that car on craigslist and I have it in my favorites, that is a solid old shoebox and I was thinking on buying it, they are getting harder to find, and it will not last. Jim
A $600 field car with no engine or paperwork and that's been sitting in long gr*** will quickly turn into a BIG PROJECT that will drain every penny you that you can put toward it without any real big reward. Where as saving a few more bucks and purchasing a runner won't get your hands on a car tomorrow it will get you on the road much faster and probably with far less grief, cost and headaches.
yes ok but i was a welder for 5+ yr so I'm ok there the last to i missed were a little better in the floor but one did not have the front clip $1500 the other was taken apart and thrown back together to sell $1250

Just got done chopping one and welding in a bunch of panels!! the replacement panels fit very well but are not cheep!! But for the money it is a good deal! if you are planing on chopping it the sedan is the one you want. Have fun!!!
