This is my first attempt at building a hot rod.Me and my Dad are doin the whole thing from start to finish.Let me know what you think.
Very nice! I like the fact that you're a young cat and not doing some stupid frame laying S-10 ch***is flat black with spider webs junk. you should be VERY Proud, and so should your Pop
Looks like you and dad are doing a hell of a good job, thats about the best welding Ive ever seen, looks great. Spike
great project!! when i graduated high school i got a 51 for a graduation. it looked like **** but after A LOT of bodywork and a lowering job i sold it, and it started me on my way to a very addictive habit!!
Excellent work - great project! Now terminology to match the craftsmanship....there was no such thing as an F100 until 1953. You've got an F1 you can be proud of.
Congrats on the truck! Looks damn good so far. I'm just a half hour or so away from you in Enfield. I'll keep my eyes out for you
Go Man Go!!!!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! you guys are on track, so glad when I see these projects. Some of my best memories were wrenchin with my Dad. Dave
Hey guys! Looking good. I remember selling you that truck about a year and a half ago I think. Glad to see your progress. It needed to be blown apart and redone but was a good truck to start with. That was an old repair shop truck from a very small town mechanic who is now retired. I still have the hand crank wrecker boom that used to be in the back of it. Thank you for shopping at Poverty Flats. Keep up the good work. Once you get it done I will show the photos to Orville, the old man who owned it for many years. He will be proud. Oh yeah, it is indeed an F-1 not an F-100 but we removed the badges from the hood before you ever got it.
Great job man. My son is 4, but I can't wait for the days when he's posting up here saying he's building his first hot rod with his Dad. Congrats!
Thanks alot guys for all the positive feedback i really appreciate it. Heres a few more pics and ill keep postin as the build goes on.
Superb work there young Jedi! Very impressive. That's an F1 though, F100 didn't come along until 53. Keep up the good work!
