Saw a program on the Food Network called "the secret life of drive-ins", at least I think that was the ***le. Anyway it had some good nostalgic scenes and cars in it. My question, any active drive-in locations where hot rods gather in So Cal? I'm in temecula between Riverside and San Diego

I lived across the street from this place when i was a wee lad. My sister is now living in the same house and restoring it. My great, great grandfather built it. The house, not the drive in.

If you are in SoCal,It's the Mission Tiki Drive-in,in Pomona/Monrovia border. Just EAST of the Fairgrounds...That's where I always go...

Van buren is more than a little worn down. Mexican food in the snack bar is outstanding though. Just keep an eye out for the drunk high-school kids and tune out the freight train running straight behind the place and its a great time. (the spotlight from the police helo can ruin your movie if you catch riverside on a bad night)
