Same Oz..And your right, it is like nothing he normally builds. he built it with the vision of the owner..
It's funny, it's not my cup of tea either, but it is really well built and done right..So no matter what i can appreciate and like it just for that alone. Plus it sounds cool..:D
And it was quite a sight to see him blasting along at 70 in the POURING rain! And i'm not kidding......it was one WET ride!

nothing more boring than to listen to a blow hard carry on about what a guy chooses to use as his mill, and nothing worse, when said blow hard doesnt even know the difference.

Way cool tub man, and the turn signals go along with it. Bummer to hear it got slammed in the ***, hope it came back together ok and is back to getting its wheels driven off of it,,again:cool:

The posts and frame I imagine are stock(perhaps shortened) 28-29 Model A Roadster/Phaeton posts. The body is a 30-31 Turdo sedan withe top whacked off.

The consistant flaw I see in these styles of cars is the radiator shell/grille actually pointed at the ground and the headlamps then visually, sometimes actually, pointed at the sky.

If Lee Osborn did the build it certainly has a different appearance than his previous efforts. I would normally hesitate to use the term "rat rod" with anything he would be asociated with but this build certainly will ellicit that reaction on first view. Like others, I will take his white '29 tub hands down. I've seen that one in person and it's a sweetheart.

  16. this car is definately a departure from lee's previous builds. if i had pictures of the ch***is and suspension, youd see its got lee written all over the rear setup.

i personally like the car alot. lee handmade a TON of **** on this car, the floor sheetmetal work is stunning, and it was all done with a good ammount of detail considering the whole car went together in a matter of like 8 months.

  17. actually gary (the old man) owns both and is currently building another 31 sedan with a roof this time.
