Friday night at the race track what a fun time smiled the hole way home.

Very bummed I'm going to miss it. Had the car packed with the minibike and everything. Gotta take care of a sick wife with the flu and tending to the kids. Hope to see some footage though!....some bikini babes couldn't hurt either.

 

Friday nite was fun,,

my daughter really wanted to go last nite,,, so we did
she decided the slow cars were taking practice runs,,,,
amd that on the way home we smelled like a hotrodbarbecue,,
the smell of fire,,fuel,,and burning tires,,,

Hooley just called after he made his first p***. I guess he wheelie the Henry J off the line. I hope somebody got a picture. After he backed off to get it back down he still turned a 6 something. Not bad for the first p*** with this new motor.

He said he is ordering wheelie bars on Monday.

Just got home, didn't take too many pictures, it was too cold to take my hands out of my pockets or gloves too much.

This car was very fast, a very very ratty looking volvo.. the "engineering" under the hood was interesting to say the least.. coolant piping from sweated copper tube.. and the frame was "interesting" as well.

Hey WZ Hooley did get a pic and he pulled out all the stops on it. Its mounted on wood and everything!LOL
His comment about the wheelie was,and I quote, ""It scared me,and I LIKED IT!!!""

 

It was wild I was pulling up to the burn out box as he popped it. He rode it aways too!

 

This Volvo was SCARY to look at in the pits but is was a blast to watch on the track.

It was great meeting you this weekend Rob. Look forward to hanging out again.
