It was pointed out over at tffn.net that my seats are not falcon seats.

Thought I would widen my search of what these came out of.

My falcon was originally a bench seat according to the vin number and this seat DOES fit in the outer original bolt holes.

Here are some pictures and thanks if you can identify these.

    some kind of van

  3. The seats that might have been original to the early 60's Ford cars had either upholstered cardboard backs, or metal. If I am recalling correctly.

    that looks like plastic??
I'm guessing Mopar, or maybe 70's Ford without headrests.

  7. A buddy of mine had an early Bronco with seats like that in it. But, they could have been from anywhere, it was put together out of leftovers and that was a long time ago.

  8. Ford generally have the seat adjuster out front and latches on both tracks with an adjustable wire between them ( like a turnbuckle) I'd agree Chev

definitly chevy sliders, most chevy sliders have two holes in the rear. They almost look like early corvette seats. c2 maybe.

I think a van also no pockets to keep you from sliding around . Early vans engine cover and door kept you in place .

I think you might even be able to add corvair to the list of possible donors. And might be scaled appropriate to the car. Everyone was practically giving corvair **** away in the 70s & 80s, they provided a lot of donor seats.

Any of the small GM's from that about 66-67 time. Similar seats and upholstery. Identical inards. Different mounting base rails to suit each car.

cool. thanks for the TONS of replies. I was hoping they might be something worth enough to sell to fund some falcon seats. That is not the case so these will go back in the falcon and I will make some support braces for underneath the body where the middle brackets land.
