I came across these photos in another website and wonder if anybody knows anything about the car and the wild engine
I don't know the owner, or even anything else about the car, but I do remember a pic of it in an old magazine with a clear hood on it. And you might get more hits on your search if you spell "Elco" correctly.
I am not sure about that car in particular however I had seen reference to some of the older Flathead engines placed in fire engines they had a dual plug per cylinder system. It was basically a redundant safety mechanism to make sure everything fired. He could probably talk some kid in to the fact that you have a V-16!!!
My friend has a pair of those heads. Has a distributor off a nash modified to work in a flathead to run it.
