SA Gear timing gears any good?

    I see them for sale very reasonable and it says American made. Anyone know of these, are they any good and US made?

    the two ive used,one for a sbc and another for a ford inline six both worked great

    Excellant there true rollers are all ive been using with great success very minimal stretch.
     
  5. They used to be a decent value for the price, a few years back. The company used to be known as DynaGear; they went through difficult times, sold off some product lines, (if I recall correctly, then declared bankruptcy), and eventually became SA Gear. I've not used anything from them for a while, but didn't have any particular problems with their stuff.

    To be honest, I prefer the Cloyes Tru-Roller sets to anything else, for street applications, though they are more expensive.
