  11. It's not an English production car and from the size and pastiche Americana I would say it's European. maybe an Opel??

It's one of the Rootes Group cars...a Hillman, Humber, Sunbeam or Singer. These cars were badge-engineered with differrent grill work, tail lights and trim but basically the same underneath the ginerbread.

Front end looks like the 58 Packard with the headlights and the little scoop.

Front end is pretty much 1959 Rambler. I think it's an ar***s rendering of the coming model for that year as overall it's very close to a 59 Super or Custom 2 door.

  20. It looks a lot like an Opel I found down in a gourge and took the steering box and column out of, (I was thinking cowl steering.) But that was about 15 years ago now, so my memory may be fooling me.

  21. You'd put a Continental kit on a g***er (like the original post mentioned)?

I'm telling you Rambler concept. The 4 headlight horizontally were not commonly used on Euro cars at that time nor were continental kits. The back window treatment is certainly 59 Rambler as are the fins.

  24. Torque-Tube is right....it's a '57 Chevpackabler BelHornidential Special...

As previously stated (Hi Paul) its definitely not British and probably not European either, (the twin headlamp comment is pretty much right) the only Russian cars that looked like this were Chaika's and they were built using old Packard tooling sold to them so were much bigger as they were Limo's for party officials only.

I think its an artists impression of a car of the period rather than an actual model, where did the pic come from?

I think purple is right, the quad headlights suggest 58 or 59 and the rest of it looks genaric for the period.

It's just made up, it's not any car that actually exists.
