Johnny Rotten's Gasser is going to be on Fox News in Detroit Tonight

Fox News covered Johnny Rotten and his daughter Kristi rolling out of the garage for the first time in their 63 Chevy II 750 hp 427 Powered Crower fuel injected “G***er”
This car was built to pay tribute to the 60’s G***ers that raced on drag strips across America. The car was built by Johnny and his friend George Price with help from Laura, Katie,Lonnie,Steve, Dirty Harry Johnny Z & Biggie’s Trim Shop.
This bad ride was built to cruise the streets of Detroit like Godzilla stomped through Tokyo. Johnny’s daughter Katie is going to earn her bones driving this wild ride. I can only say I’m jealous and wish it was mine.
Look for the Fox News piece tonight. They hope to make it by 5:00, but it might not be shown till 6:00 pm.
It’s really cool to see Fox 2 covering what we love. See Johnny’s car at Autorama in Detroit Friday through Sunday, after that you can catch them out at Milan Dragway.

Cool car! I like the splayed out injection stacks and the red eyelids over the headlights, and it has a really nice paint job. Too bad the back tire is going to rub like crazy on the fender.

 

those headers sure kicked the dust up. hope he hadnt spent to much time cleanin it. very cool car!

 

Pretty slick. Are those ****** tri five headers or custom made,they fit the car nicely.

 

A coworkers dad was just telling me about this car. Said to keep a look out for it at the show. Now I know what it looks like!

Well, for the 5:00 Autorama segment, they just showed some GAAAYYYYY, pro street/pro touring '48 Cadillac(?), with a Top Fuel style injector on it, and, get this, a Rat Fink bustin' thru the roof with the torn metal and everything!!!!

...hopefully, it makes the 6:00 segment...

 

I haven't see it yet on Fox2, I hope they run it soon. Those tires look pretty close in the rear. That might be an issue, but knowing Johnny and his buddies, they'll get it worked out. I can't wait to go to Autorama, this winter has been brutal. See you there.
