Some guy on e-bay is selling some Garage magazines, stating that they are brand new, #11, #12, # 15 I don't remember the mags going that far before Jesse stopped.

I'm looking for the issue with the Jason Jessee article, I think it's number 14 or 12.

I spoke to the subscription dept. at Garage mag the other day, they said the company is restructuring and will possibly have a new issue out in april or may.
Maybe Jesse could give us an update

Come on Glen you threw them away, that hurt. One of the issues is bringing big money on e-bay.

There was a recent West Coast Custom shop tv show build on a late model Chev truck build for Jesse James.Lotsa drama like the old BoyD C shows....
I noticed he had "Garage Magazine" sponsorship on the side of his Baja vehicle he was tearing around the shop parking lot with?

  14. Ryan gave me issue one YEARS ago when it came out. Kinda bummed when we lost that and all my 70s Rod Action magazines in the flood (not as big of loss as the Mark Twain 1st edition collection however :( )

Yeah, I was given the "we're restructuring" speech last Summer. Told me the next issue would be out in Jan. I thought that was rediculous. It's now March of '09, and still nothing. WTF?? It's my favorite magazine, but I've about lost all my patience with it.

    I have several

Mid 70's Rod Actions' ,some year books, etc ,,

Late 60's and early 70's pop-hot rod . .guess I'll try flea bay to rid myself of them

  18. Hmmm, I was told December via a distributor I get them thru.

I'm afraid though that most of the people that used to buy it will have moved on to other ***les. Whenever a ***le falls behind on delivery it never gets back to where it was quan***y-wise. I've seen it happen with a few ***les I deal. Rolls & Pleats will suffer a little when the next issue is done as they're overdue.

Just curious though.....what issues of Garage "bring big $$$"?

If you subscribed, that ****s, sorry for you.
If you buy on the rack, stfu. If it comes out and you want/like it, buy it. If you don't, don't.

Good god this post comes up every so often like the HAMB has any control over it. Ok, so the semi famous person who owns the mag comes on here,,,,, and? You really think he's even as worried about it as many of you are? No, or he would have a new issue out.

if everybody would keep their cool, and not get mean, and stupid about it, we might get some answer on when, where, how, and why. The threads always fall apart, and get shut down. When, and if it does end up on the rack, im getting it no question. It was one of the quality magazines.

I bought one of the first issues , read it and threw it in the trash. I wasn't impressed. Bought another sometime later and still wasn't impressed. Tossed it too.

Honestly,,,, no, you wont get a real answer. When these threads get going, the editor (forget his hamb id) comes on and gives a generic "PR" type response,,, then a few guys call him on it, he defends it, sometimes JJ and Ryan come in and make it into a joke,,, then it gets shut down. There, I just saved a ton of posts.:D

The bad thing about it is that they will still sell you a subscription knowing a mag hasn't been out in a long, long time.
