Let's get this back on the front page. I like these pictures! It's OK I shoulda put a smilley there I get packages adressed to Booton! Les Dunham is a real cool old guy (and I'm old, too) And still has a shop here in town. Google him and see some of the neat stuff he's done. Some of it is a little crazy, but he does not lack imagination!!!
That's gotta make you feel good! Has it been refinished at all or just well taken care of? Would love a story about where it's been!
Interesting; not an hour before I looked at this thread, I was ****ing around on craigslist and found these for sale in my old hometown: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/clt/1059927446.html No idea who the guy is and also am not going to pursue them for myself; maybe a fellow HAMBer could scoop 'em up?
draginsteel, I have owned this car a long time, It has lots of stories. I restored it once but its getting to a point another redo wouldnt hurt. for more pictures check out my photoalbum or click on the current picture above It should direct you there. this post makes me wonder how many of the other cars on the "postcards" are still around.
Cool photos of a cool rod. Please tell the story behind the photos. Looks like the radiator is being replaced. Is the car still around ?
