New here from Louisiana. Here goes the intro - Been into trucks and hot rods since I was old enough to whiz on myself. Started on my t-bucket when I was 12 - I didn't know much about anything then, and really I still don't, but I've spent enough time on the side of the road to figure out how to do enough to get by. Me and my brother finally got my t-bucket roadworthy a few years back (when we swiped my dad's motor and trans out of his '47 chevy daily driver when he wasn't looking) and I drove it most of my senior year in high school. Finally got to drive it to the NATS in Louisville in '07. I broke down every 12 miles along the way and got rained on every 15 miles but eventually we made it up there and back. I'm not sure if me or the car suffered more damage but we're both still here. Started college driving it, but its not the most daily driver friendly when your living in the dorms 100 miles away from your shop - so I parked it for awhile - and now its pretty much apart. Hopin to get it back on the road by the NATS this summer. Other than that, I mess around with a lot of 73-87 trucks mainly cause they're relatively cheap and they're mas cool. Also, I got a brother, Moon, who I pester most of the time and get him to work on my stuff for free when I'm at school. Unlike me, he's crazy good at metal work and choppin tops - I just stick to turnin wrenches and working on parts I can sling across the shop without breaking when I get mad. Me and body work don't get along. Cheerio, LittleRichard'sSpeedShop

Welcome to the HAMB! I am in Ruston. I think I saw that bucket at the college here (La Tech) about two years ago? If it was the same car I even left a note in it for ya. LOL. Anyway, welcome aboard!
